BIOMETRIDS, OR DEMOCRATIZED FACIAL RECOGNITION
Biometrids is a project based on the blockchain Ethereum.
Its finding is very simple: our data and especially our identity data are ultra sensitive in today's world. You can make them fly, hack or ... you can also deal with a scammer who will run under a false identity to play you a dirty trick.
The WhitePaper teaches us for example that in the UK, identity theft has more than doubled for 8 years, with 90% of the frauds that have taken place online. The sum of the data stolen during large "silent" break-ins in large corporations is staggering. Just like the millions stolen online to private individuals.
There are solutions but they only limit the damage. But we are still in the age of nicks and passwords. In short an open pit gold mine for hackers.
Another problem is that many people on earth do not have papers proving their identity. More than a billion ... And this continues, many births are still not recorded.
Biometrids shares the observation that centralized systems operate (poorly) as silos. And that these systems have too many faults.
Biometrids proposes a solution that seems obvious on paper: to take the best of what comes and what exists, namely facial recognition and blockchain. The combination of these two elements can solve all the current problems associated with identification and authentication.
The transparency, flexibility and reliability of the blockchain Ethereum are no longer to be demonstrated. This is a perfect opportunity for the Biometrids project. A decentralized authority capable of mapping identities, and certifying them or not. Smarts contracts offer the ability to check between systems and key management lightens the burden of users.

Facial recognition cannot be mistaken. It will scan different features of your face: eyes, mouth, chin, etc. To make it simple, all this is translated into numbers. You will have a photo of you pre-existing in the blockchain. When you authenticate, the platform will compare the photo you just took to the one recorded on the blockchain. An algorithm will start its calculation: close to 1 is well you, close to 0, it is not you ...

The token: IDS
Biometrids will work on the model of the Proof of Stake, with 10 000 IDS you help the system to rotate. At each request for authentication on the platform, the system randomly requests 5% of the nodes. Each transaction costs 0.10 IDS. 90% are paid to the stakers.
My opinion
There is a new generation of ICO coming in and that I would describe as adults. They work on a model of seriousness, without sending powder to the eyes. Biometrids clearly announces targets by 2019 to 2020. She is aware of the steps to climb and difficulties. But she's enthusiastic. It takes investors seriously: the tokens allocated to the Biometrids team are blocked for 3 years, the token will not be introduced within 3 months of the ICO to avoid that some do not have too much fun with the courses (something we see often, and which has already) Precipitated in the void of many promising projects).
